1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Lubab app, its online services and lubab.io. Lubab helps you organize tasks, schedules and focus. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If applicable law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must have that permission.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, the security of your device and sign-in account, and activity you authorize through your Lubab account. Do not use someone else's account without permission. Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Some features require an account, internet access or device permissions. If you use Google or Apple to sign in, their terms also apply to their sign-in services.

3. Acceptable use

Use Lubab lawfully and respect other people's rights. Do not upload content you have no right to use, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, or bypass its access controls and usage limits.

4. Your content and privacy

You retain your rights to the content you create or submit. You give Lubab permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide the features you use, maintain and protect the service, and comply with applicable law. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, which providers process it, and your choices about optional features.

Keep a separate copy of information you cannot afford to lose. Some information is stored only on your device, and sync does not currently cover every type of planning information.

5. AI, reminders and integrations

AI suggestions and transcriptions can be incomplete or wrong. Review names, dates, times and other details before saving or relying on them. You remain responsible for decisions you make using the service.

Reminders and schedules can be affected by device settings, permissions, connectivity and operating-system behavior. Lubab is not an emergency service and should not be your only means of keeping track of a safety-critical obligation.

When you choose to connect a third-party service, its own terms and privacy policy apply to its handling of information. You can revoke supported chat connections in Lubab Settings.

6. Availability and changes

Lubab may change as it develops. Features may be added, modified or discontinued, and maintenance or other interruptions may affect availability. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Where applicable law requires notice, refunds or another remedy for a material service change, those rights remain available.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using Lubab at any time and request account deletion in the app. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your online account. Account deletion does not automatically erase local planning information on your device; remove that information separately if you want it deleted.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the service or comply with law. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and how to contact us about it.

8. Our rights and responsibilities

Lubab's software, branding and website materials belong to their respective rights holders. These terms permit you to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it.

To the extent permitted by law, Lubab is provided as available, without additional warranties beyond those required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or takes away your mandatory consumer rights.

These terms do not require arbitration or waive rights you have to bring a claim before a competent court.

9. Updates and contact

We may update these terms and will show the effective date on this page. For material changes, we will provide notice or seek agreement where required by law. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using the service.
